A zisha pot is not glazed, which is the entire reason it exists: the clay is porous, so it takes up the aroma of the tea brewed in it. The convention is therefore to dedicate a pot to one kind of tea — a green oolong or a ripe pu'er — and never to wash it with soap, which would leave a residue in the pores permanently.
This is the xishi shape: round body, short spout, small handle, considered a classic for oolong. The interior has a ball filter rather than a mesh. Hand-finished, with a maker's seal on the base. Rinse with hot water between uses and dry with a soft cloth.
