Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms & Conditions, together with our Disclaimer and Privacy Policy, form a legally binding agreement between you and the website operator. By accessing this website you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the website.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use our services. By using this website, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Nature of Services
We provide BaZi (Four Pillars of Destiny) chart calculations and interpretive readings, together with educational content on Chinese metaphysical traditions. All content is provided for entertainment, cultural, and personal reflection purposes, as detailed in our Disclaimer.
4. Accounts & Registration
- Registration requires a valid email address. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
- We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or submit automated or fraudulent requests.
5. Free & Paid Services
- Checkout is not yet open. All readings currently available on this site are free, with no card required, no trial period and no automatic enrolment into anything paid.
- When paid features are introduced we will update this page and the Pricing page before any charge is applied. Nothing you unlock for free now will be withdrawn.
- Joining a waitlist is not a purchase: it creates no obligation on either side and no payment details are collected.
6. Refunds & Your Statutory Cancellation Rights
Our policy: digital readings are refundable within 14 days of purchase if the content did not resonate with you — no questions asked. Refund requests: support@example.com.
UK and EU consumers additionally have statutory rights that we do not override:
- A 14-day cooling-off period for physical goods, starting the day after delivery (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 / Consumer Rights Act 2015).
- A 14-day right to cancel digital content — but you lose this right once delivery of the digital content has begun with your prior express consent and acknowledgement that you thereby lose the cancellation right. We therefore offer the 14-day "no questions asked" refund above instead, regardless of when you downloaded your reading.
- Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
To exercise a statutory right to cancel, tell us clearly within the deadline using the contact details below. We will refund you within 14 days of being informed, using the same payment method you used.
US consumers: there is no federal right of cancellation, and refund rights vary by state. Our 14-day policy above is a voluntary commitment we honour for all customers.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit our content or generated reports without written permission;
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or systematically extract data from the website;
- Use automated bots or scripts to generate bulk chart requests;
- Submit personal data of third parties without their consent.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, design, interpretive frameworks, and generated report text — is the property of the website operator or its licensors, and is protected by copyright law. Personal use of your own reading is permitted and encouraged.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website or reliance on its content, nor for any life decisions made in whole or part based on readings provided for entertainment purposes.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are intended to comply with consumer protection requirements in the United States and the United Kingdom, where the majority of our users reside.
Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer rights that cannot be limited under applicable law. In particular, if you are a consumer in the UK or EU you retain the protections of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
12. Contact
For any questions about these terms: support@example.com.
If you have a complaint you can't resolve with us directly, UK consumers may refer it to an approved alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider or use the European ODR platform.
