Sterling silver is 92.5% silver alloyed with another metal, usually copper, because pure silver is too soft to hold a clasp. The 925 stamp is a legal standard in the UK and the US. This bracelet is solid sterling throughout — beads, chain and clasp — rather than silver-plated brass, which is what most "silver-tone" jewellery actually is.
To keep the price honest we do not rhodium-plate it to stop tarnishing, because plating wears off and leaves the piece looking worse than an even patina would. A silver polishing cloth restores the shine in a few seconds.
If you have a nickel sensitivity, this bracelet contains no nickel plating, but you should know that sterling silver itself is sometimes alloyed with trace nickel by other suppliers. Ours is not, and we can provide the supplier declaration on request.
