The pattern here is a border rather than an all-over print, which is a practical decision: a cloth with a design across the whole surface competes with whatever is put on it, and a plain centre does not.
Stonewashed linen, which is preshrunk and slightly irregular, with mitred corners so the hems lie flat. Linen creases and there is no point pretending otherwise; warm iron on the reverse if it matters, or accept the texture.
