This is the same casting as our hanging ornament, reduced and given a keyring, which is the honest description: it is not a new object with a new story, it is the existing object somewhere else. We mention that because there is no reason to dress it up.
Solid brass rather than plated zinc, which is what most keychain charms are. The difference shows up in a year: plated charms lose their finish on the edges where the keys rub, and solid brass simply develops a darker tone that polishes off. It will also feel noticeably heavier in the hand.
The swivel is stainless steel and rotates, so the gourd hangs rather than swings. Keys scratch brass in a pocket; if you would rather keep the shine, use a separate pocket or a bag clip.
