A sandalwood ring — the pi disc form carved in wood rather than stone — on an extra-long tassel. The wood version is lighter than jade and softer in tone, and it ages differently: it darkens and polishes where it is handled.
The same shape as a stone pi disc, cut from sandalwood instead. Wood is lighter, warmer in the hand and much less likely to chip, but it is also softer — the ring will pick up a slight sheen where fingers rest on it over a season or two.
This version carries an extra-long tassel, roughly 32 cm in total drop, which is a decorative choice rather than a practical one. If your state restricts mirror ornaments, trim and re-knot the tassel before hanging.
