Jadeite and nephrite are different minerals that share a name in English. Jadeite is a pyroxene, harder and denser than nephrite, and it is the material the Chinese trade historically prized most highly; it comes mainly from Myanmar.
Bean variety describes the crystal size: the individual grains are large enough to see, so light scatters rather than passing through, and the stone looks soft rather than glassy. This piece is untreated — no dye, no polymer impregnation. Both are common in the cheaper trade, and disclosure of treatment is a legal requirement in most markets, so it is stated here.
